Charity Information:  The main objective of ACF is to provide both urgent humanitarian relief and long-term rehabilitation for children who have lost one or both parents in North and East Sri Lanka. Also focusing on advancing the education and training of children; particularly in agriculture and industry, and to relieve hardship, distress and suffering of these disadvantaged people.

Event Information: Come along and 'Race the Dragon' at our Summer event. Fancy paddling your team to the victory line, well welcome aboard! Dragon boat racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today - as well as the most fun! With a drummer at the front beating time your team must paddle a 40’ boat leading to triumph! All you need is plenty of team spirit!

We are looking for 30 teams of 15 people to take part and race each other to win the trophy prize. In addition to the Dragon Boat Race event, this is also an exciting family fun day out with BBQs, Beer & Wine, Bouncy castles, face painting and other stalls, as well as a whole host of other activities. 100% of your funds raised will go directly to Arobanam's children; so why not get together with your family, friends or colleagues and take part in this fun packed event!
