Four dragon boats – including two donated by Race The Dragon – have now arrived in Odesa, Ukraine, where they will help injured soldiers and military veterans rebuild physical strength, mental wellbeing, and community through sport.
Dragon boating has always been about teamwork, resilience and connection. To know these boats will help people recovering from life-changing injuries get back on the water with friends and teammates is something very special.
A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, including Eleanor Fitzgerald, a volunteer for Ukrainian Action, Pershore Dragon Boat Club, Thames Dragon Boat Club, and all those who helped with donations, logistics and transport.
